"Web Wednesday" Coming Soon!

As another initiative of LiME, we are trying to organize "Web Wednesday", a once-a-quarter collaborative technology workshop, for teachers by teachers. Click here for the invitation that we plan to send to the entire district faculty. We would like to get your input and comments on the whole idea before we send it to the rest of the staff.

-What do you think of this "Web Wednesday" concept?
-Does the invitation seem welcoming enough and provide all necessary information?
-Is the sign up link accessible enough?
-What tech tools would you be comfortable sharing?

  1. I LOVE this idea!
Yes, the invitation is welcoming. It sounds as if there will only be one tool demonstrated, so you might want to change the wording that it's several tools, or one tool per session, etc.
    Sign up link is great.
Edmodo, Wikispaces, Webspiration, Google search stories (Thanks, Andrea!), Blabberize, there might be others but I can't think of them.

  2. This is awesome. I think you will have very good reaction to this. Also, now that I am "a man without a country" (as far as period to period with my student teacher having taken over), please let me know what I can do to help you in getting this off the ground!

  5. Thanks again for the feedback everyone. By now you should've received our official invitation. If you registered last week, you do not need to sign up again. Hope to see you all on Web Wednesday!
